This safety vest is constructed from 100% polyester flame-retardant mesh fabric, engineered for high visibility and safety on the job. It features 2-inch silver reflective tape applied over the shoulders and around the torso, ensuring enhanced recognition in low-light conditions. The vest is accentuated with hi-vis orange polyester binding, giving it a vibrant hi-vis orange color and is certified to ANSI/ISEA 107 standards as a Type R, Class 2 garment. It secures with a hook and loop front closure and provides practical storage with five well-placed pockets, including one upper left chest pocket, two exterior waist pockets, and two interior waist pockets. The fabric is treated and tested under ASTM D6413, self-extinguishing when exposed to fire (with an after-flame time of less than 2.0 seconds and a char length under 6 inches); however, it should not be used in areas where arc flash or flash fire hazards exist.
